Mission Statement:
To assist the needs of families facing cancer through support of those who have lived with cancer.
Jessi's House supports families who have been touched by cancer through direct donations, emotional support, and education
to help ease the burden of a family member who has become ill with cancer.
Our vision is to provide a respite home for these families near the waterfront of Lake Ontario.
Within walking distance, the natural surroundings of the lake and nearby parks offer participants a sense of peace and serenity.
We offer activities to help ease the emotional and physical demands of having cancer.
Jessi's House is named in honor of Jessica Dunlap, a childhood cancer survivor of 18 years, graduate of Irondequoit High
school and in the nursing program at St. John Fisher College. It has always been in Jessica's heart to help others. We believe
by blending the lives of people who have gone through similar circumstances, we can help to restore hope, dignity and strength
to families that are encountering this disease.
